For the several weeks, former state Representative Art Argenio lobbied US Senate Candidate Colonel Mike McAllister to sign the FL Personhood Amendment. Then at the Saint Lucie County Republican Lincoln Day Dinner, I challenged both Adam Hasner and Colonel Mike McAllister to sign the Florida Personhood Amendment Petition. Personhood Florida recently received McAllister’s signed petition, but to date, we haven’t received a signed petition from Hasner. I commend Colonel McAllister for taking a bold stand to protect all innocent human life. Truly, without life, our other rights are meaningless!
McAllister joins Florida Senate Majority Leader and former US Senate Candidate Mike Haridopolos and former Florida Christian Coalition Director and current FL House Representative Dennis Baxley as prominent Florida political figures to signs the ProLife FL Personhood Amendment!
Personhood FL is non-partisan and does not endorse specific candidates and/or political parties. We encourage all Candidates for US Senate and other seats in all political parties to endorse and sign the FL Personhood Amendment which will end abortion and protect all innocent human life.
What is the Florida Personhood Amendment?
The personhood amendment is a proposed amendment to the Florida constitution that would define the word “person” to include every human. It will establish justice and respect for life from the moment of biological beginning until natural death for all races, creeds, and abilities, no matter how the child is conceived. In short, it will end abortion and protect all innocent human life.
Why is Personhood So Important ?
The 14th Amendment reads in part, “nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law” but doesn’t define who a person is. In the majority decision from the Supreme Court case Roe v Wade, Justice Blackmun wrote, “(If the) suggestion of personhood [of the preborn] is established, the [abortion rights] case, of course, collapses, for the fetus’ right to life is then guaranteed specifically by the [14th] Amendment.” The Personhood Amendment will define all humans as persons from their biological beginning. The Personhood Amendment will directly challenge Roe v Wade, end abortion, and protect all innocent, human life! But first we must get it on the ballot!
What Is Needed to Get the Personhood Amendment on the Ballot?
Personhood Florida needs 676,811 valid petitions for ballot access. When we have ten percent of that number, 67,681 valid petitions, the Personhood Amendment will go to the Supreme Court of Florida for approval for ballot access. To accomplish that, we need your help to spread the word to your family, friends, neighbors, church members, and with your community, and yes, we need your church to petition for personhood. Sermon notes, power point presentations, and personhood petitions are available at http://www.PersonhoodFL.com. Please utilize these resources so that we can end abortion and protect all innocent human life! Please work and pray to help your county become the Most ProLife County in the state of Florida!
